Have you tried to develop a consistent workout routine numerous times, but seem to always give up a couple of months, weeks, or days in?

Does working out feel like a chore, or something you need to force yourself to do and not something that you find joy in doing?

Do you suffer from severe “gym-timidation” when it comes to trying new things and stepping foot into new studio or gym environments?

Do you feel like you are wasting your time when you work out alone, unsure of what movements are effective at building strength or unsure if your form is safe?

Do you know that you need to make a change in order to improve your quality of life?

Join Lift Yoga + Strength founder Alexa Rose Pancza for a transformational four-week series that will introduce you to fundamental bodyweight and weight lifting movements and help you to develop a positive relationship with exercise, your body, and how you treat it. This series meets a total of 8 times in 4 weeks (2x per week) and is for people with little to no prior workout experience, or who have been sidelined for a period of time due to injury or other life events.

The key to a high level of physical fitness is simple and can be summarized in one word: Consistency. The keys to consistency are safety, injury prevention, mindset and self care. These principles will be the focus in Foundations of Lift. In addition to movement, we will cover widely applicable self care principles of adequate sleep, hydration, and nutrition that will help you to get the most out of this series.

**To ensure quality and individualized instruction, this class will be limited to 10 people.**

The goals of this class are to:

-Develop a positive relationship with exercise/ fitness
-Develop and implement self care practices (adequate sleep, hydration, nutrition) to help you to experience the greatest benefit from this series
-Improve your mental and physical strength by learning how to safely perform and/ or modify the following exercises:

-Plank
-Hollow Body position
-Push Up
-Squat
-Deadlift
-Russian kettlebell swing
-Overhead Press
-Dumbbell Snatch

About Alexa:

Alexa takes a holistic approach to fitness that is rooted in self love. She has trained and taught countless individuals in different studio and gym settings around Baltimore and started Lift Yoga and Strength last October as a way to expose more people to her unique, well-rounded approach to fitness and wellness. She currently manages Lift full time while pursuing a Masters Degree in Human Clinical Nutrition from the Maryland University of Integrative Health. Her passion for improving the quality of people's lives is unparalleled. She loves what she does and it shines through to her product.
