This year's Young Artists Summer Camp theme is Nature! Each day we will have a different set of fun projects that will revolve around a more specific theme within the larger theme of nature. Within this summer camp, young artists will explore their curiosities by creating artwork that also teaches about science and nature! This interdisciplinary approach to teaching and creating artwork fosters the growth and exploration of many different types of learners! Children will be able to participate in hands-on learning and creating in several individual and group projects per day. You may choose to sign up your child for individual days or for the whole week (5 days).
Today we are focusing on Ants, Ladybugs, and Other Things on the Ground with three fun projects talking about our little friends on the ground and the many things you can find when you take a closer look at the things that surround us! The children will have the opportunity to explore their curiosities and create Bug themed projects. Throughout the 3 hour session, children will have the opportunity to create at least 3 fun and educational projects. Today, we will work on painting ceramic lady bugs, recycled ant sculptures, and create your own bugs!
