This year’s Young Artists Summer Camp theme is Nature! Each day we will have a different set of fun projects that will revolve around a more specific theme within the larger theme of nature. Within this summer camp, young artists will explore their curiosities by creating artwork that also teaches about science and nature! This interdisciplinary approach to teaching and creating artwork fosters the growth and exploration of many different types of learners! Children will be able to participate in hands-on learning and creating in several individual and group projects per day. You may choose to sign up your child for individual days or for the whole week (5 days).

During today's day camp, we will focus on Flowers and Their Pollinators. Summer is here and the beautiful flowers are everywhere! Today, we will work on colorful projects about the wonderful flying bugs whose lives are so interconnected with the beautiful flowers around us. Children will learn about the important role pollinators play in our world by combining art and science to explore and discover! During this three hour session, we will complete several projects, such as Honey Comb Collages with Bee stamps, 3D flower sculptures, sun-catchers, and outdoor painting from life! Join us for a morning of fun!
