Mrs. Yuka Layme is a joyful broad who loves providing entertainment across the midwest. As a producer, she has created dozens of cabaret reviews consisting of live & lip synced performances. She co-created the charitable performance group ELEGANT FUR, a bearded drag review in Chicago, IL. Currently, she is in Lincoln, NE producing the monthly show MRS YUKA LAYME PRESENTS, as well her unique live cooking show THE SEQUIN SOUP KITCHEN, and her drop in performance night QUEEN SEEKING. In April 2017 MYL will present Nebraka's first Story Time with Drag Queens.
The Austin International Drag Festival has selected Mrs. Yuka Layme as an official performer for their 2017 festival!
Drag Queen Story Hour was created in 2014 by Michelle Tea and RADAR Productions in San Francisco, as a way to bring children, families and Drag Queens together for a playful hour of celebration and fun. Since then, Drag Queen Story Hours have popped up in Brooklyn, Ottowa and Chicago, with other cities in the works.
