Anis Mojgani to share works of poetry at ‘Readings at the Nick’

McMINNVILLE – Anis Mojgani, an award-winning poet, will read from his work on Thursday, April 5, at 7:30 p.m. in the Austin Reading Room at the Nicholson Library at Linfield College.

Mojgani is a spoken word poet, visual artist, and musician based in Portland. He is a two-time National Poetry Slam Champion, multiple-time TEDx speaker, and winner of the International World Cup Poetry Slam. His work has appeared on HBO, NPR, and in literary journals such as "Rattle," "Forklift Ohio," "Lumberyard" and "Paper Darts." Mojgani is the author of three books of poetry: "The Pocketknife Bible," "Songs From Under The River" and "The Feather Room." His latest book, "Over the Anvil We Stretch," is a fully illustrated poetry-memoir.
