Announcing the new Little Big Wars D&D Level up! Program

Hey role-players,

Steve here, I love seeing all you guys on Wednesday nights who have been coming to Role-play at the store. Only thing that is bothering me, is there is no “real” organized play that Wizards is offering for D&D. Well I got to thinking, instead of waiting around for that to happen any longer, I came up with my own idea.

From now on when you attend and fill out the signup sheet at the front counter not only will you be earning XP for your character, but you’ll be earning XP for yourself to save you money at LBW for stuff you are already buying.

Here is how it works, I want to keep it simple, for each week you attend you earn XP, and Ill track that XP for you each week. The more consecutive weeks you are here the faster you level up, but you never lose XP for not attending. I have created a chart that will be posted up by the counter that will show How much XP you earn for each week you attend, if you miss a week, you start back down at week 1, BUT NOT LEVEL 1 you get to keep your current XP and continue from there. The more you attend the faster you level.

DM’s? I would never forget about the much-needed DM’s (being one myself) DM’s will have their own chart and will level up at twice the speed as a player, I know the players are good with that because they know all the time spent outside of Adventure’s league that a DM puts into the game, and I want to also to make sure that gets rewarded.

So, what does leveling up mean? Well again, keeping it simple, maybe Ill come up with some ideas later like magic items etc. but for now, for every level you go up, you get to have a 1% discount on any one purchase of your choice. It is a one time use and if you use it you retire that “character” and start back at 0 XP, so its up to you, do you save it and get all the way to level 20 and 20% off or do you use it somewhere in between? The choice is yours.

Again, this is just getting started and Ill be trying to think of fun things we can do with that that won’t get to crazy on paperwork and tracking, but for now, just keep doing what you have already been doing but now you get some rewards!! So, make sure you sign up, if you don’t sign up you don’t get credit for being there, and make sure and print your name so I know who gets the XP.

My way of saying thanks for coming to Little Big Wars! Game on!

Steve
