Welcome to your own tropical yoga retreat here in Bangor (well we can at least pretend)!
Join us for a hot yoga sweat fest as the perfect antidote to beat the cold weather!
This yoga event consists of a sequence of postures designed to work the whole body; internal organs, systems of the body, muscles, joints, ligaments and glands. Everything!
The heat allows the body to be more pliable in the postures resulting in restructuring and properly aligning of the body.
The heat makes the class feel more challenging. The heart rate will rise rapidly. This paired with the yoga practice serves as a cardiovascular workout.
The postures are basic and easily understood by a beginner but you will find it very dynamic and physically challenging.
Feedback about the events and the reason people keep coming back:
'I love the heat...to warm through my bones!'
'You sweat much more than at the gym.'
 'Everyone is motivated...everyone moving together.'
'I love the upbeat music in the class.'
'At first you feel self-conscious because you're sweating so much but then...you just get on with it and forget. Everyone else is sweating anyhow.'
'Although it's very challenging it also feels relaxing. My muscles feel great and so relaxed afterwards.'
'I can definately feel like I've worked hard the next day...but in a good way:)!'
