LHU 5th Annual Student Cabaret: “Dreams and Nightmares”

The University Players at Lock Haven University will host its 5th annual student cabaret at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 5 and Friday, April 6 in the Sloan Auditorium on the campus of LHU. The theme for the production is “Dreams and Nightmares.”

The show will consist of two 25-30 acts with a 10-minute intermission between acts. There will be three group songs, seven solo acts, and four duets. All acts will follow the theme and represent a dream or a nightmare.

Students involved in the production are seniors, Mary Beth Ruggerio, Austin Miller, and Garrett Hartshaw; junior, Morgan Beatty, director; and juniors, Grace Monroe, Jake Houtz, Rebecca Glincman, Matthew Duncan, and Destena Bower; sophomore, Meghan Bower; and freshman, Paige Mitcheltree.

The production is open to the public. Tickets are $3 with LHU student ID and $5 for general admission. The production also will serve as the main fundraiser for the University Players, as a way to produce future performances and to promote the arts at LHU.
