Lock Haven University Mainstage Theatre will present “Good Kids,” by Naomi Iizuka, at 7:30 p.m. April 12-14 and 19-21 and at 2 p.m. April 14 in the Sloan Performing Arts Center Auditorium on the LHU campus. Doors will open 30 minutes before each performance.
Set at a Midwestern high school, in a world of Facebook and Twitter, smartphones and YouTube, “Good Kids” explores a casual sexual encounter gone wrong and its very public aftermath. The performance might not be suitable for all audiences, due to subject matter including harsh language, suggested sexual violence, and other like content.
The production is directed by Ramona Broomer, LHU professor, and presented by University Players in association with the LHU Student Auxiliary Services.
The performances are free and open to the public. Tickets are available at the box office. For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
