We will be focusing on three areas of Workforce Development:


Retention- keeping the current workforce in the community- including youth development
Attraction-providing jobs for those persons who are interested in locating in the community
Recruitment- Actively reaching out to groups of workers who can meet the needs of the businesses

8:45-9:45 Building the Future: (Workforce Retention) “Grow our own” -Introducing our youth to the career choices available in the region. A panel discussion of CTE programs, job shadowing, internships and other programs at middle to high school level
