(Tickets must be booked in advance and a deposit paid)

Points will be awarded in each class to the competitor gaining most points over the same season with the same horse/pony/rider/handler combination. Points will ONLY be awarded to those who attend a minimum of 3 shows per year. To this end competitors are asked to complete a short form with their details so as contact can be made later and for the distribution of a newsletter

ALL CLASSES: £9 per competitor

First Aid: £1.50 per show
Rosettes: To 6th place in all classes with a small gift to lead rein & first ridden entries
Prize money: JUMPING & SHOWING CLASSES – Prize money if sufficient and according to entries

CLASSES ARE QUALIFIERS FOR THE FOLLOWING:
Senior Showing & Dressage; Equifest; : The Showing Register; RoR

RULES
1. Under no circumstances must horses/ponies be left unattended unless securely boxed and must NOT be left tethered in the vicinity of the show ring or tethered to the outside of vehicles
2. Horses, ponies and riders age as at 1st January in current year.
3. The Judge’s decision is final. Any confrontation with a judge is strictly forbidden.
4. No unauthorised person(s) are allowed in the ring at any time, although assistance is allowed with clear round jumping
5. Points will be awarded in each class to the competitor gaining most points over the same season with the same horse/pony/rider/handler combination. Points will only be awarded to those who attend a minimum of 3 shows per year. To this end competitors are asked to

6. Competitors and spectators must conduct themselves in an orderly manner. Any use of bad language or behaviour which may bring the club into disrepute will result In disciplinary action. Children MUST be kept under adult control.
7. All lead rein competitors must be led by an adult (18 years and over
8. All ridden horses & ponies competing must be 4 years old and over.
9. All competitors must be correctly dressed whilst in the ring and British Standard hard hats must be worn. Chin straps and jackets must be fastened correctly. Arms must be covered. Correct footwear must be worn. Body protectors may be worn. (see disclaimer)
10 Annual points and trophies will be awarded, in each class, to the competitor gaining the most points over the season, with the same horse/ pony/rider/handler combination. (see rule5 above) A receipt MUST be signed and trophies MUST be returned on time.
11. All dogs must be on a lead and kept in control. Please clean up after them
12. No responsibility is accepted by the committee for any accident, injury, property howsoever caused. (see disclaimer)
13. The committee recommend that all competitors carry public liability insurance with a minimum of third party cover.
14. Complaints must be made in writing accompanied by a £20 deposit. These will be considered at the first available committee meeting and a decision will be notified to those concerned. The deposit will be forfeited if not upheld.
15. Ponies must be 148cm and under and horses must exceed 148cm.
16. Stallions must be handled by an adult (18 Years and over) and be correctly bitted. Riders of small breeds must be 12 years old and over. Riders of large breeds must be 14 years old and over. (as per BSPS rules)
17. Points will be deemed void should any trophies or monies be outstanding to the club.
18. Tickets for the awards presentation evening will be available on a pre-booked system, a deposit having been paid . Please book in plenty of time to ensure sufficient catering arrangements can be made.
18. Anyone attending the shows is asked to place litter in the bins provided or take it home. PLEASE…..pooh-pick, there are implements provided.

Classes 27 & 28 are Olympia SSAD 1st Round Qualifiers: Competitors need not be SSAD members to compete in these classes , but MUST be members in order to compete in a 2nd round qualifier. Qualifications will only be deemed valid if judged by a SSAD panel judge. These classes are also qualifiers for the Summer Championship show -April, May, June, July & August shows.

CLASS 49 RIDDEN RESCUE. (The judge will ask for a brief history)
CLASS 50 RIDDEN COB (HOGGED OR HAIRY). THE HOOD SHOW TEAM/EQUIFEST MAXI COBS QUALIFIER:
Open Maxi Cobs, mare, or gelding 4 years old and over exceeding 155 cms – to be judged as cobs.
Riders any age.
NUPAFEED RIDDEN COBS - mare, or gelding 4 years old and over exceeding 148cms but not exceeding
155 cms. Riders any age, classes to be divided as follows:
• Open lightweight ridden cob, mare or gelding exceeding 148 cms but not exceeding 155 cms.
• Open heavyweight ridden cob, mare or gelding exceeding 148 cms but not exceeding 155 cms.
CLASS 51 RIDDEN OPEN. Stallion, mare, or gelding 4 years old and over, any breed. Riders any age but must be an appropriate size for the animal

IN HAND CLASSES MINIMUM AGE OF HANDLER - 9YRS. STALLIONS: (EITHER IN HAND OR RIDDEN) COMPETITORS MUST BE OVER THE AGE OF 16 YEARS. COMPETITORS CANNOT ENTER THE RING ONCE THE COMMAND OF TROT HAS BEEN GIVEN. THE SAME RIDER/HANDLER/PONY/HORSE COMBINATION MUST STAY THE SAME FROM FIRST/SECOND ROUND QUALFIERS AND GRAND FINAL. ALL COMPETITORS SHOULD AQUAINT THEMSELVES WITH SSAD RULES BEFORE ENTERING. The Olympia Anthony Evans SSADL. NEXT STAGE - SECOND ROUND QUALFIERS – You can only compete in the Olympia Anthony Evans SSADL Second Round Qualifiers, if you are a 2018 affiliated rider/handler and your animal is registered with SSAD Ltd and hold the 2018member/registration card. Once you have qualified at a First Round Qualifier and you have received an Acceptance card, only then may you compete in the Olympia Anthony Evans Second Round Qualifier. The Second Round Champions will go on to compete at the Olympia Anthony Evans SSADL Supreme Final at the London International Horse Show in December 2018 .

RIDERS & IN HAND FINALS –
This show is a qualifier for the 2016 TSR Reginal Finals. Qualify and enter ANY of the regional finals central, east anglia, north west, north east, south east, south,wales& south west or scottish. You do not have to be TSR member to qualify or enter a final. The rider/handler qualifies and can enter any horse/pony in any number of finals.
TSR Riders finals- 1st and 2nd riders qualify and will receive a qualification card in the ring.
TSR In Hand finals- The two highest placed handlers with a TSR In Hand card will qualify in any in hand class. Handlers must have their cards signed in the ring by the judge/steward. Cards are available free from the TSR website. Full details at :http://www.theshowingregister.co.uk/
