TUES APRIL 3rd We will be meeting at 6 PM at the LCMF Headquarters @ 15407 Avon Belden Rd on the corners of Route 57 and Route 83 in GRAFTON Township to discuss the hearing for zoning at the GRAFTON Township Hall this SAME evening at 7 PM. They have created a new noise ordinance which is vague and pretty much says that we can’t have any music of any type anywhere within 100 feet of audible hearing of property that is projecting the sound in our township. There’s no decibel levels mentioned. We would like to do an audio test with decibel meters to determine what is a reasonable level. All of the neighbors seen the post to this for some reason. We need some support here, and the general public‘s opinion. We the Lorain County music foundation just got our zoning amendment to include outdoor music passed by the zoning board. Now it goes before the trustees. If you support local music whether it’s you or your RADIO or acoustic playing in your backyard or live music you should attend this meeting regardless of your view on any of the situations going on in our township you the residents of GRAFTON Township need to be involved NOT just the trustees and the zoning board… See the pictures posted below to get more information on the new noise ordinance and the other activities in your Township. RIGHT NOW WE ARE THE ONLY RESIDENTS IN THE TWP THAT HAVE A PERMANENT INJUNCTION KEEPING US FROM HAVING ANY MUSIC ON OUR PROPERTY. But we never violated anything! How is this in biased? How is this fair. Anyone else can but we can’t??? They are also seeking 2 more trustees to be put on the board. SO, if you want to be involved in zoning and townships decisions…
