Jessica Largey won the 2015 James Beard Rising Star Chef award. She spent the majority of her culinary career working at David Kinch’s three Michelin-starred Manresa, working up the line from chef de partie to chef de cuisine. Prior, Largey cooked at Providence in Los Angeles and Bastide in West Hollywood. Most recently, she embarked on SIMONE, her first restaurant venture in Los Angeles.

Miles Thompson is a 2017 semifinalist for the James Beard Rising Star Chef of the Year award and the current executive chef of Michael’s in Santa Monica. This year, he was also named LA Weekly’s Best Up-and-Coming Chef and Rising Star of the Year in Esquire’s annual Best New Restaurants issue. Thompson’s previous kitchen experience includes Napa’s SHED and LA’s Son of a Gun, Animal, and NOBU. He also received critical acclaim for Echo Park’s Allumette, which appeared on Bon Appetit’s 50 Best New Restaurants, Jonathan Gold’s 101 Best Restaurants, LA Magazine’s top 75 restaurants, and LA Weekly’s 99 Essential Restaurants.

A Best Chef West semifinalist four years running, Josef Centeno is a prolific Los Angeles restaurateur. He owns six establishments in downtown Los Angeles, including Bäco Mercat, Bar Amá, Orsa and Winston, Ledlow, and P.Y.T. Previously, he helped open Lazy Ox Canteen in Little Tokyo and cooked at David Kinch’s three Michelin-starred Manresa. Centeno is also a cookbook author.
