Lotus y Luna Crystal Ritual + Guided Meditation
La Luna in this class is in the The New Moon phase. The New Moon symbolizes new beginnings and a fresh start, making it the ideal time to make wishes, set new intentions and plant new seeds so you may watch them bloom and grow throughout the remainder of the Moon's Cycle. This particular Crystal Ritual is perfect for this time of Spring in which we "wake up" and brush off the hibernation of Winters slumber. The New Moon also represents the shadow side of the Moon cycle or Self. The Shadow helps us to see in the "dark" and embrace both our light side of our "Full" Self and Shadow side of our "Unseen" Self. This class is an opportunity to step into a new way of creating rituals for self-care and home practice using crystals as tools for both expanding and grounding the body, mind, and spirit.
We will explore through conversation, guided practice, and writing exercise the deeper meanings of embracing the New Moon Shadow's lessons. This positive perspective of Shadow helps us to navigate what may arise from setting intentions during the new moon or darker side of the Luna. Think No Muddy depths No Lotus blossoms - So let us join in community, slow down/ be still, enjoy what Charleston Springtime offers us this time of year - a fresh pot of soil to Earth our seeds of intention into and re-start within the moon cycle in preparation of the future full moon at the end of April. (See Full Moon Cacao Ceremony)
What to expect in Class:

Time will be given during class to answer questions about the crystals used in meditation, ritual practice, and toolkit provided.

Why is this New Moon Ritual Important:
Creating a regular practice of setting New Moon intentions is a mindful way to commit to your dreams and goals. It will also allow you to stay in touch with the Moon's divine feminine energy. The power of writing down your intentions or wishes is a tool for creating the life you wish to live within. New Moon is the dark shadow side of the Moons cycle which provides you with the ability to look into your own shadow for hidden lessons and insights about your Self, Life, + Relationships with others. By practicing in a group setting with a guide it helps to create more confidence in yourself in knowing together you are creating a community of others who are equally as interested in learning and discovering rituals for mindful living practices.
