Focused on active flexibility, the intent of this workshop is to build strength and extension in your splits and back bends! The concept of active flexibility includes utilizing your strength and flexibility in unison. It is the range of motion you can achieve by using your muscles and strength to stretch! We will explore stretches focused on opening our hips, hamstrings, shoulders, and chest. This strength-based approach to stretching will stabilize your joints, increase your range of motion, and reduce your risk of injury.
