Vi er så heldige å igjen få besøk av wandering yogi, Swami Mahesh. Dette er tredje gangen han besøker oss i Stavern, som en del av sine reiser over hele verden gjennom de siste 11 årene.

Swami har et behagelig vesen, inkluderer alle og tar utgangspunkt i der hver enkelt er. Han er svært kunnskapsrik og erfaren, og deler av sin visdom med oss i en integrert yogaform, som er enkel for alle å ta inn og utføre.

Han er med oss i to dager, og du kan velge om du ønsker å delta 1 eller begge dagene (noe redusert pris). Det er ulike programmer lørdag og søndag.

Lørdag 15-18: Yoga - The Art of Stress-free life

Experience the beneficial effects of yoga with simple and integrated yoga practices that deal with the body, mind, emotions and psyche. The aim of the workshop is to give you lasting tools for stress management and to help you connect to the next higher level of your own evolution. Yoga is not gymnastics but a systematic approach to strengthen your body's immune system and to focus your mental emotional energy for an integrated development and holistic growth of the personality. All levels welcome. No prior knowledge of yoga is required.

Søndag 12-15: YOGA; MIND and MEDITATION

Mind is a versatile instrument. However if it is not guided into creative pursuit in a balanced harmonious way then the same mind becomes a big obstacle in our life as we get stressed out, feel the pain and suffering out of events, situations and relationships in life. We lose connection with our own inner core.

Meditation is the advanced yoga technique of holding the mind at one point for extended period of time to bring in inner connection and transformation. This helps us to internalize our awareness and draw energy from our inner being. It also helps develop strong willpower and inner strength to face difficult life situations. By becoming aware of the mental processes, we gradually become more sensitive to our needs, desires, creative potentials, phobias, projections, and mental blockages.

The workshop will include basic asanas and pranayama practice to bring physical harmony so that the body can stay calm and quiet during the meditation. The relaxation technique, taken from the system of the Tantras, will help the mind to become relaxed and focused. Finally the Meditation practice taken from the Vijnana Bhairava Tantra will help us to connect with our inner peace, wisdom, harmony and bliss. All levels welcome.
