The Kaizens

A blast of direct raw Indie Rock that’s as infectious as it is heartfelt. The sound of The Kaizens is instantly recognisable and has already seen them burst out of their hometown Torbay, with their sizeable ambition lining up the rest of the world in their sights.
Their breadth and power becomes even move even more evident when on stage, where they’ve been hailed by fans and critics alike for sounding record-perfect in the live arena, but with a spine-tingling and raw delivery.
Following the release of their four-track self-titled EP, The Kaizens original music received numerous air plays from radio stations all across the UK. They were also invited to perform a live session for BBC Introducing.
2017 brought them a very busy year playing gigs and festivals and supporting touring bands all around the UK. They have played with / supported such bands as The Darkness, Top loader and X factor star, Luke friend. One of the highlights of the bands year in 2017 was being able to meet and play in front of Glastonbury festivals own Michael Eavis. The band managed to reach the final in the Glastonbury festival competition, which was judged by himself and other critics.
The future is looking big for the band as they are adding to their long list of future gigs, events and festivals all around the country.
"The Best bands in the world have both an intrinsic bond that binds them together, and a natural flair that instantly wins over hearts and minds." That’s exactly what you get in The Kaizens.

Four Piece alternative Grunge/Indie band from Ipswich,Suffolk. The band originally started of as only covering Wolf Alice tracks for a college project. This then led to the band spending time together and started to write. Entering local competitions such as; Battle of the bands. And fortunately going on to win, which gave us the opening spot for Mayday Festival in Alexandra Park. Following the success of the gig and constant writing and rehearsing within the band. We started performing a lot more locally around Ipswich, prime spots being - The SmokeHouse, The Swan and Cult Cafe. Stretching out to Stowemarket, the band were able to play at John Peel Centre's Emerge night. This then lead to putting on another gig with local bands within Suffolk. Most recently Oranje played the John Peel Centre opening up for London band 'YAK'.

Oranje were able to create demos at college and actually put out onto spotify /itunes, etc. But throughout summer, they've been given the chance to record a 5 track EP at Punch Studios. This is currently in the process of being mixed and produced in London.

Stolen Horse

Stolen Horse are currently working on their first studio release (2018). The new EP has been recorded at the Grand Chapel Studios and has been produced by Annalise Shaw and Mike Pearce. The new EP promises to be full of dynamic yet engaging hooks, complex vocal harmonies and seriously catchy choruses! This is one not to be missed!

“Statues of Everything’ delivers mandolin and banjo embellished melodies, driven by subtle bass with presence but not ‘in your face’, augmented by engaging lead vocals and tight harmonies” (Charlie Elland)

“Stolen Horse are a great mix of traditional folk and modern pop music. Foot tapping and crowd energising, Stolen Horse have the makings of a band that will be selling out venues near you soon!
This band is determined to have fun both on and off stage, catch them now to experience the beginnings of a soon to be equine theft extravaganza!” (Adrian Walker/ Infuse Records)
