Landscape Collage

We will use a variety of collage materials to make beautiful landscapes. Learn how layering, texture, and color can create depth that will make your landscapes pop off the page! Instructor: Jennifer Azadmanesh
Stop Motion Drawings
June 28
Using a planning process, as well as the media of drawing, painting, photography and video, we will make our own mini movies. We will draw and paint, then take intermittent photographs of our work and combine the images into a film using iMovie for iPad. Watch your art come to life! Instructor: Christina Kennedy
Under the Sea

Using liquid watercolors and diffusing papers, we will paint a colorful array of sea plants and creatures. We will then collage them together for a fabulous under the sea scene. Instructor: Mary Giacomini
Native American Heritage

A look at Native American heritage will help us understand history as we sculpt terracotta clay. Using creative techniques, while learning about different clay tools, we will shape unique pendants. Instructor: Diane Ramsey
Animals in a Pouch
July 19
After a tour of Jaune Quick-to-See Smith’s main gallery exhibit, we will identify our own favorite animals. Our projects will include mini painted canvases, small enough to carry in your hand-sewn Native American-style pouch. Instructor: Jennifer Azadmanesh
Self Emojis

Create your own personal emojis as you explore your own expressions of happiness, sadness, seriousness, laughter and more. We will make several self-portrait artworks for our own self-emoji collection! Instructor: Jennifer Azadmanesh
Collage Creation
August 2
Explore texture and color with a variety of collage media. Collage on canvas will be fun and spontaneous, and a great way to express your own personal special touches. Instructor: Diane Ramsey
Black and White Still Life
