Let your young artist explore the world of art! A parent or guardian must accompany the child during the session. Pre-registration is required at least one week prior to each class. No younger siblings, please.

Father’s Day Gifts

Surprise your favorite dad with a handmade gift! We will talk about why we love our dads, grandpas, or uncles and why they are so special to us. Afterwards, we will make them a unique gift that tells them how we feel.

Water Seascapes
June 22
Learn fun and simple watercolor techniques while creating a beautiful underwater seascape. We will explore brilliant colors, textures, and creatures of the deep blue sea. Instructor: Jackie Lillis

Magical Mosaics

Make mosaics using glass, pebbles, rocks, found objects, and more. We will create mosaics of all shapes and sizes using our creative minds. Instructor: Jackie Lillis

Patriotic Collage Flags
July 6
Explore the possibilities of collage. Celebrate Independence Day by creating your own version of the American flag. We will use paper, images, words, paint, and more to piece together a beautiful flag that will represent the USA. Instructor: Jackie Lillis

Dogs and Cats

With pre-cut shapes, you will learn how to trace and make a fun dog or cat. Add your own special details to make this household pet your very own! Instructor: Jennifer Azadmanesh

Sand Art
July 20
Play with colored sand to create a fun abstract wall hanging. We will experiemnt with sand paper to see how we can create simple landscapes using chalk as a drawing tool. Instructor: Jackie Lillis

Now and Then Self-Portraits

How do you think you look now? How do you think you will look when you are older? Let’s explore paint, crayons, and other media as we make now and then self-portraits. Instructor: Jennifer Azadmanesh

Letter and Number Creatures

Spirit Animal Masks

Calling all animal lovers! We will look at Jaune Quick-to-See Smith’s main gallery exhibit with animal themes, as well as different animal masks from around the world for inspiration. Learn to create texture to make your animal come to life! (Note: this class will run until noon.)
