Performances at the Shaver Theatre on LSU’s Campus
Auditions for adult actors age 16 and up will be held Saturday, April 14th from 1:00-4:00pm.
Callbacks will be held the following day, Sunday, April 15th beginning at 1:00pm.
All auditions will be held at LSU’s Music and Dramatic Arts Building in Room 135.
Rehearsals for You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown will be held Monday through Friday, April 23rd – May 31st, from 5pm – 8pm each evening.
For auditions, actors are asked to prepare no longer than 32 bars of a Broadway-style song. Please bring sheet music with you to your audition, an accompanist will be provided.

About You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown
You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Revised) is a fresh approach to the all-time 1967 classic, based on the beloved comic strip by Charles Schultz. Sally Brown joins Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, Schroeder, and Snoopy in this charming revue of vignettes and songs. Two new songs, “Beethoven Day” and “My New Philosophy,” have been added to the twelve numbers from the original version, which include “My Blanket and Me,” “The Baseball Game,” “Little Known Facts,” “Suppertime,” and “Happiness.”
**Playmakers is interested in collaborating with actors 16 years of age and older of all races, ethnicities, and identities. All casting is flexible and is at Playmakers’ discretion.**
