Rhapsody in Light
For Robert Rosen, of Plover, creating a photograph is a lot like musical improvisation. He works in the moment, responding to shape, shading, color and rhythm as he encounters it, while hiking in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and Wyoming, and Wisconsin's Little Wolf River. Borrowing from standard musical practice, Robert gives each photograph an opus number that corresponds to the sequence in which the image was captured. His work has received numerous awards from prestigious art shows throughout the Midwest. robertrosenphotography.com
