Cannabis legislation in Canada is approaching. Are you prepared to answer questions from clients about Cannabis? Do you know how Cannabis influences physiology? Do you know how Cannabis might influence manual therapy treatment and rehabilitation? This one day information-based workshop is designed to provide manual therapists with:
• an awareness and understanding of the upcoming Canadian
legislation of Cannabis
• the anatomy, physiology and pathology of the endocannabinoid
system,
• the general pharmacology and administration of Cannabis and,
considerations for case history taking, treatment applications,
contraindications to treatment, and self-care rehabilitation
activities

About Randy Persad Dip Pharm., RMT, MEd.

Randy Persad, educator, RMT, and ex-Pharmacist,
brings over 30+ years of experience in the health
care profession. Randy knows the importance of
teaching the most relevant, researched and
updated health-care practices. While he continues
his education in many areas, he maintains
advanced education in manual therapy and,
anatomy & physiology including Cannabis effects
on the body. He embraces eastern practices of
yoga, breath awareness and deep relaxation to
maintain his health and spiritual balance. He lives
in Burnaby BC.
