You are invited to this special lecture by Joel Coutu, avian behavioural specialist and consultant as well as field guide in ornithology, who will introduce the feathered stars that can be found in this area of Montreal, the Technoparc Wetlands. You will learn their amusing stories, their courtship rituals, their adventures and their lives. This lecture will also present to you this secret paradise on the Island of Montreal for largest number of bird species, particularly those associated with wetlands, which can be seen here. Just during the summer period, nearly 100 species of birds are seen here and over 80 species use the same sector to nest. With a variety of habitats, it is not surprising that the birds have adopted this area over the years as their home but is endangered of disappearing in the coming years.
