Our very own Laura Hamilton is bringing you a three part series of workshops, giving you the tools and skills to plan, engage, communicate and take action on your sustainability ideas.
Laura is the Sustainability Officer, Partnerships and Engagement on campus and is driven by empowering people to do good. Through her conservation efforts and campaigning experience at Taronga Zoo and the Centre for Sustainability Leadership, Laura has gained insight into effective ways to communicate the message of sustainability. She will pass these practices on in an engaging and interactive three part workshop covering the following topics:
Workshop 1: Behaviour Change
Workshop 2: Campaigning
Workshop 3: Storytelling
The series will run over three weeks in the Sustainability Cottage from 4-6pm Tuesdays. Please note you MUST be a Macquarie student to attend this workshop. You must also be member of the Macquarie University Sustainability Squad page to register. https://www.facebook.com/MQSustainabilitySquad/
Each workshop is limited to 20 spots so please only register for an event if you are absolutely going to attend.
