The inDIGenous Jazz Series is presented by Madison Music Collective and The Greater Madison Jazz Consortium. The concerts are held on the 3rd floor of Madison's Central Library. Each concert is free, all-ages, and open to the public.
Andrew Baldwin is a graduate from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a master of music in percussion performance. Pieces for the inDIGenous Jazz series showcase the artist’s compositional tastes and their expansions since moving to and studying in Madison. He writes, “As a native Wisconsinite and one who holds Madison near and dear to my heart, the potential to share my music with the community that has fostered so much of my musical growth is beyond thrilling.” the pleasure to play alongside Ohio jazz violinist Christian Howes, Las Vegas jazz vibraphonist Christian Tambour, and Roy “Futureman” Wooten.
