Astrology is an ancient mytho-poetic language that helps us to understand how our individual paths weave into the larger mystery. It provides a structured yet dynamic way of tracking cycles and patterns, providing insight into how we can step into our power and be the change.
So, what is ‘queer’ astrology? What does it mean to queer astrology? Here, ‘queerness’ to refers to living outside the dominant paradigm. Astrology used well helps us to navigate our experiences of embodying our diverse expressions of gender, sexuality, relationship styles and other identities and experiences that seem to be outside the 'norm'.
When we queer astrology -- to think about Mars, for example, as an archetype of desire and initiation rather than masculinity -- we open to the idea that we are all unique expressions of an infinite cosmos.
In this AstroCircle, we’ll be doing any number of the following things, based on attendance and the needs of the group:
Drawing your own chart
Discussing how your chart might reflect or help navigate non-monogamous, kinky and other alternative styles of relationships
Creating a 3-d zodiac and playing with placements, ideas and embodied experiences of the archetypes
Journeying to the Moon
Understand how astrology can help to craft questions that serve as guideposts rather than …
Encouraging radical embodiment and acceptance
The intention of AstroCircle is to empower folks who aren't astrologers, as well as those who are, to use the current astrological weather consciously. We'll use lecture, experiential exercises, storytelling, personal reflection, discussion and fun(!) to explore the magic of the stars, the soul and how we can use astrology in practical ways to enhance our lives and the world.

Your advanced registration is greatly appreciated. It helps me to prepare! And it reserves your spot.
This space does have 4 steps leading up to the building, and a variety of seating options (a small number of chairs and a large number of floor cushions). It is a relatively scented environment due to the presence of scented goods in the apothecary.
*Please note that tickets are non-refundable. If something comes up, the fee might be transferable to another workshop with at least 24 hours notice at the host's discretion. Thanks for understanding.
