Magic Beans Team is thrilled to invite you all to this very special Performance by the IMPULSIA Ensemble, who will perform for us, together with the soprano Sara Gouzy on Saturday 28th April at 4 pm. They will perform Dido´s Lament, from the Opera Dido and Aeneas. Looking forward to welcome you all!

The IMPULSIA ensemble was founded in Berlin 2014 by young talented musicians from the very best European music academies.

The members with origins in Spain, France, Israel, Denmark, Japan, Brazil and Moldavia all share common goals: to rediscover the way of playing chamber music and chamber orchestra; and at the same time make a deep connection between its members, the music and the audience.

The unusual and flexible constellation of the IMPULSIA Ensemble, based on nine instrumentalists and one singer, facilitates a constant flow of new inputs, innovations and Ideas. What also makes this ensemble special, is its ability to integrate other art forms and break the barriers of norms and traditions with interdisciplinary projects.

Collaborating with contemporary composers and striving to make the music of our time accessible for everybody is of great importance to the ensemble. In this spirit, they also offer educational programs and children concerts in different varieties.

Having members educated in the famous German orchestral tradition - among others from Rundfunks Symphonie Orchester Berlin, Deutsche Oper, Deutsches Sinfonie-Orchester Berlin, Konzerthaus Orchester Berlin and the Kammerakademie Neuss - the musicians of the IMPULSIA Ensemble offer performances on the highest musical level.

The Ensemble IMPULSIA is so far to be experienced in many of the most innovative and open venues of Berlin like „Kühlhaus“, the Joseph-Joachim-Saal at the University of Arts Berlin, Goerge’s Kirche and in the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche.

With its dedication and love for the music, its unique energy and its innovative visions, this ensemble brings not just a breath of fresh air, but a veritable storm to the stage of classical music!
