Ages 10-12
With Kristen Parke

Campers will expand their imaginations while accomplishing lasting works of clay, both sculptural and functional. They will learn to work independently and collaboratively in a small class setting with plenty of individual instruction. This camp focuses on many ceramic hand-building techniques—leaving plenty of room for exploration and decoration. Each camper can expect to create and glaze 5-10 ceramic projects in the duration of this camp. The 3 hour, half-day camp will include a short break for snacks provided by parents or caregivers.

Camp begins at 1:00PM each day from July 9-13.

Unfortunately, we cannot make exceptions to the published age restrictions.

(We also offer a clay camp for students ages 7-9 - you can sign up here!)

Project Pick-Up
Completed projects may be picked up two weeks after your camp ends; we will NOT call you when they are ready. We strongly recommend that you bring your child with you to help identify what s/he made. Projects left more than 4 weeks after the camp ends will be discarded. If you cannot pick up your child’s projects by this date, please make arrangements for someone else to pick them up.

Class Content/Schedule
Students can expect to make new work Monday through Thursday and spend Friday glazing. Class periods will include time for clean-up, an integral part of the process.

Other Information
