More about some of the artists:
RIVERINE - A solo project of ambient electronica producer Kieran Fergusson. Drawing influence from film composers, Radiohead and Flume, his unique cinematic soundscapes will have you dancing around in your room in a tearful mess. Though the Brisbane is only just kicking this shindig off, it is unanimous that the 20 year old has unmatched potential.
LUCY DRON - A Brisbane based singer/songwriter. Her unique style is hard to define, but could be described as post punk infused with indie rock and a dash of lo-fi folk. In 2017, Lucy collaborated with her brother Tom Dron and drummer Corey Percival in a performance at the New Globe Theater. In October, Lucy performed two of her own works "Dance of the Divinity" and "Questions", in a collaboration with renown Australian contemporary music ensemble, Topology as part of the Cleveland Contemporary Music Festival. Lucy was a selected participant for the "Sarabah Sessions" in 2017 where she was fortunate to be mentored by Sahara Beck in a series of workshops which resulted in the recording of "Dissolution". Most recently, Lucy recorded her song "Bikini Bottom" at QUT mixed By Andrew Francis.
FLAUSE - Brisbane based alternative R&B singer/songwriter flause, invites sultry vocals through mellow tones and lo-fi elements reflected in her sound. Only been running in the music game for less than 9 months and her sound is continuously growing and heavily influenced by Jorja Smith, Billie Eilish, Jhene aiko and Sabrina Claudio. Her sound has planted a seed in the music scene and should be closely watched with the growth that is on its way.
