This Masterclass will be delivered by Doctor Jayanta Banerjee, a senior lecturer visting from Christ
University in Bangalore.
Dr Jayanta Banerjee is part of the faculty of marketing management, he has of 15 years’ experience as an academic. Dr Banerjee did his PhD in management, researching brand loyalty in the mobile phone industry. He has taught under and postgraduate students in management all over India including Hyderabad, Kolkata, Sikkim and at Bengaluru.
He is an avid researcher in marketing field, and is the coordinator of the marketing research centre at Christ University. He has 25 recognised publications and papers in various journals and he has presented his work at a number of national and international conferences.
Dr Banerjee encourages his students to ‘think out of the box’ or think in an unconventional way, to help develop new ideas and concepts. He regularly sets small group assignments/activities, using case studies in an interactive setting to learners understand and bring concepts to life.
