Sustainability reporting can help organisations measure and communicate their economic, environmental and social performance. Thousands of companies and organisations of all sizes from across the world, use this reporting tool as platform to communicate their sustainability performance and impact whether it be positive or negative.
During this class, you will analyse sustainability reports from major companies in the US comparing them to organisations in emerging markets including China, India and Russia.
In the second half of this interactive masterclass, you will work in groups to prepare a 10-year strategy document for a range companies in emerging markets. With the aim of evaluating what constitutes a well-rounded holistic sustainability report.
This Masterclass will be delivered by Dr. Malini Nair, who is a senior lecturer visiting from Christ
University in Banglore.
Dr. Malini Nair is an Assistant Professor of Economics and Quantitative Techniques at Institute of Management, Christ University. Prior to Christ University, she has an academic work experience of 5 years in teaching Economics and Statistics, as well as conducting academic research on Climate Change and Sustainability. Prior to her academic work, she worked in other organisations such as HSBC, Dun and Bradstreet and BearingPoint (KPMG Consulting).
She has been published widely in several international journals, and is an academic reviewer of Mitigation and Adaptation Strategies to Climate Change, as well as an expert reviewer of UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
