Ever find yourself out of breath in a yoga class? Feeling too old, weak or inflexible to do enjoy it? Feeling like others have something—strength, flexibility, endurance—that you lack? The thing is: yoga movements are simply about observation and curiosity; it’s like walking down a small, dark alley in search of that really cool space. Through asana practice we dig and discover that which lies buried within us… It can be physical, mental, emotional and sometimes even fun!

The most important requirement for this class is that you breathe. If that’s in your skillset, then come and discover how wonderful it feels to keep in rhythm with yourself. We’ll explore sun salutations (of course!), strengthening poses, arm balances and breath work. We hold poses for longer periods of time in order to understand how our breathing can move us more deeply into new spaces. It’s not easy. Don’t worry: we find adjustments for everyone. Slow is the new power!

About Diane: Above all, she’s always curious and excited to find new ways to share what she’s learning. In case you’re wondering, she completed 500-hr training some years ago, has studied in India and continues to explore with her teachers. These days she’s interested in the links between yoga philosophy, behavioral economics and human biology. She teaches in Vietnam and Sweden.
