We invite you to this introduction to intelligent sequencing - Vinyasa Krama with Colleen Pickthall over 7 weeks.

yasa- comes from the root word 'to place'
Krama -order, steps/stages

During this seven week course Colleen will guide you intelligently through different movements our spine is capable of and each practice will sufficiently and efficiently prepare the body to float through a series of progressive poses and transitions working towards a goal pose.
Every pose has a unique function in relation to the spine and the way it affects the breath.

Week 1 -Samasthiti the spine is correctly aligned
week 2 - Pascimatana the spine bends forward or the torso moves towards legs
week 3 - Parsva - the spine moves laterally
week 4 - Parivrtti - spinal twists
week 5 - Purvatana - back bending the back moves away from the legs
week 6 - Viparita - inversion the torso is inverted with head down and legs up
week 7 - Visesa - combination of spinal classifications
