Host: Kennan Buckner
I grew up in Devine, Texas. After graduation, I studied mass communication/journalism at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and worked as lead associate editor at Katy Magazine/Cy-Fair Magazine/Sugar Land Magazine in the Houston area before becoming a full-time mom in 2015. After doing freelance work alongside our "real jobs" for years, my husband Marcus and I decided to give it a name and make it our full-time focus. That's how Marken Media Co. was born. Our goal is to help our clients by creating powerful communication tools using various forms of media. We're excited to add home-based workshops to bring creative events and experiences near you.

Hand Letter Leader: Hilary Currie
Hilary grew up in Devine, Texas, as a homeschooler who spent considerable time doodling... poorly. It wasn't until much later, when she found hand lettering and modern calligraphy, that she found a true creative outlet. She can be found writing random words on scrap pieces of paper at her day job as an Ob/Gyn or cluttering the dining table in the home she shares with her husband Jeremy in San Antonio, Texas.
