Kelly Dybdahl, Certified Energy Manager at Lyon-Lincoln Electric Cooperative, will explain Small Scale Renewable Energy as seen by a Rural Electric Cooperative.

Ever wondered if you could have your own wind generator? Or if solar panels would work for your home? Join us for information and hands-on engineering experiments for adults and kids. The activities accompanying this program are best for kids ages 5+ with adult helpers.

This event is part of a series accompanying the Explore Tech exhibit visiting the Marshall library. Explore Tech: Engineers Make a World of Difference, a traveling exhibition for libraries, is part of the STAR Library Education Network (STAR_Net) led by the National Center for Interactive Learning at the Space Science Institute. Exhibit partners include the American Library Association, the Lunar and Planetary Institute, and Afterschool Alliance. Explore Tech is supported through a grant from the National Science Foundation.
