Have you ever wondered …
… what would happen if everyone in the world gathered in one spot, then jumped?
… just how fast you could take a speed bump without dying?
… what would happen if the Earth stopped spinning?

Join some non-scientist nerdy librarians for an Armchair Science Group Read and find out! We will meet on Thursday, May 3rd at 6:30 pm to discuss What If?: Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions by Randall Munroe.

Please contact Paula Nemes (paula.nemes@marshalllyonlibrary.org) or Emilirose Rasmusson (emilirose.rasmusson@marshalllyonlibrary.org) to RSVP. For more information and resources, visit the Armchair Science book club page: http://www.marshalllyonlibrary.org/readers-cafe/book-clubs/armchair-science/

This event is part of a series accompanying the Explore Tech exhibit visiting the Marshall library. Explore Tech: Engineers Make a World of Difference, a traveling exhibition for libraries, is part of the STAR Library Education Network (STAR_Net) led by the National Center for Interactive Learning at the Space Science Institute. Exhibit partners include the American Library Association, the Lunar and Planetary Institute, and Afterschool Alliance. Explore Tech is supported through a grant from the National Science Foundation.
