Volunteer Training. Any interested and previously trained RSVP volunteers are encouraged to attend.

Purpose: Volunteers will answer phones calls made to the Cerro Gordo County Emergency Management Phone Bank during a disaster or community emergency. The phone bank alleviates non-emergency calls from flooding 911. Individuals should be compassionate, empathetic, thorough, flexible, and have the ability to “go with the flow.”
Steve will go over all of the information you need to serve as a Phone Bank Operator in the event of a disaster or community emergency. You will also become familiar with the phones and what to expect if a phone bank is activated.
