Experience light and art with IALD New England on a day trip to MASS MoCA in North Adams. This event will feature 9 installations by James Turrell that use perception, light, space, and color to elevate our senses and experiences. Turrell's work transforms the world around us by manipulating architecture, disintegrating boundaries, and saturating space with light and color. Join us as we celebrate the emotional effects of luminosity where light is used as a tangible substance.
Price includes 3 meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) as well as transportation to and from North Adams.
*Note: Two of the Turrell pieces: "Perfectly Clear, 1991", and "Hindsight, 1984"- as well as two VR experiences by Laurie Anderson are space-limited. If you wish to see any of these works, you must make your own reservations on the Mass MoCA’s website on or after 28 March.
