Streetlight Cadence is an alternative folk-pop band that started on the streets of historic Waikiki. What began as a means to pay for groceries has now turned into a full-time career for this group of friends.

The band has spent the last six years honing their craft as songwriters and entertainers. Although they come from a strict classical background of musical performance, the men of Streetlight Cadence are anything but your typical quartet.

Driven by their infectious storytelling and whimsicality, Streetlight Cadence has made its mark on Hawaii’s musical landscape.

“BEST GROUP OF THE YEAR … Streetlight Cadence is the most refreshing breeze to hit our shores in years. This ensemble offers unconventional instrumentation served with warm engaging ambiance. It’s a matter only of time before the group is nominated for a Grammy Award. The lads have the look, the sound, and that "something" ingredient that shouts "success."
—Wayne Harada, Honolulu Star Advertiser

“I've interviewed Hanson, and the Jonas Brothers before they became famous, and I knew it then, I know it now. These guys are going to be big!”
—Ann Sterling, Emmy award winning news anchor, KITV Morning News

“I've never seen so many girls scream for any local band in Hawaii, they're sort of a cross between Mumford & Sons, and One Direction.” —Kevin Jones, Star 101.9

“Their music arrested me. I go to these music things all the time but when you hear a song or a band like Streetlight Cadence play, it is refreshing. I say this not as a professional but as a person.”
—Rupert Hine, Producer, Songwriter, BMG board member
