Tai Chi and Qigong are moving meditations that generate, move, regulate, and store energy (Chi). Tai Chi strengthens bones and muscles, improves balance, lowers blood pressure, reduces stress and improves concentration. Qigong is the art of energy cultivation that has been practiced in China for over 4000 years.

This class is for beginners and advanced students. We will learn Bao Jian Qigong, Dragon's Gate Qigong, Yang style Tai Chi, and the Wu Dan Mountain Mother form of Tai Chi.

Class is $5 per person

About Michael Patty:

I am Michael Patty the instructor. I have been studying Tai Chi and Qigong for 26 years. I began my study of Qigong and energy medicine in Boulder, Colorado with Ken Cohen in 1992. My Tai Chi study started in Estes Park, Colorado. I studied Wu Style (Northern Eagle Claw) and Northern Shaolin Sword form at the IKA Dojo from Shehan Scott. I studied Yang Style with Jane and Bataan Faigao in Boulder in 1993, and began teaching Yang Style in 1996 ( 22 years). I have continued Qigong training with Master Zhongxian Wu in his life- long training program.
