Join the May Museum & Park for this temporary exhibit researched and designed by ECU history students under Dr. Gerald Prokopowicz, focusing on the military service of Farmville native, Paul Aaron Parker, Ensign, U.S. Naval Reserve. The exhibit will feature medals won by Parker for his actions and will offer a glimpse of Farmville during World War II, including the war’s impact on the local economy, community efforts to support servicemen at home and abroad and the sacrifice represented by the loss of young men like Ensign Parker.
