Dr. Dysinger is an internationally sought-after expert in Lifestyle Medicine and an active member of the faculty at Loma Linda University. He consults, teaches and participates in research on Lifestyle Medicine issues around the world.

Dr. Dysinger previously served as Chair of the Department of Preventive Medicine at Loma Linda University. He was also a past President of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and has worked in various capacities with the American Medical Association and the Association for Prevention Teaching and Research. Dr. Dysinger earned his M.D. degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine (1986), and his MPH from Loma Linda University School of Public Health (1990). He has previously worked in Guam, Atlanta, and Dartmouth.

Dona Cooper-Dockery is a physician practicing internal medicine who has dedicated over 25 years to positively changing healthcare outcomes both nationally and internationally. She is board certified in internal medicine and directs Cooper Internal Medicine and the Cooper Wellness and Disease Prevention Center where patients are not only diagnosed and treated using traditional health care approaches but the root causes of chronic diseases are addressed through lifestyle modifications.

Dr. Errol Bryce is an internist in Fort Worth, Texas and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area including Baylor All Saints Medical Center at Fort Worth and Medical City Fort Worth Hospital. He received his medical degree from Universidad de Montemorelos School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years.








JANANI KRISHNASWAMI, MD, MPH

Dr. Krishnaswami received her M.D. from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Michigan where she was named a Dean’s Scholar. She completed training in Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine at University of California, San Francisco and Kaiser Permanente and received a University Fellowship to pursue her Masters in Public Health (epidemiology) at University of California –Berkeley. Her research and publications center on the cultural context of wellness, humanism in medical education and measuring “best practices” of community-engaged programs focusing on preventing sedentary behavior and obesity.

Dr. Martin Ekoumou is one of the most informed and insightful health professionals and sought-after speakers on Global Health Promotion, Education, and Advocacy. He completed his dissertation research in Public Health, specializing in Community Health Promotion and Education. He promotes improving the quality of life and well-being for all people and the communities in the Rio Grande Valley.

Dr. Dominique Gummelt is a passionate, energetic and innovative health, wellness and fitness expert. Currently, she is the Director of University Health & Wellness at Andrews University in Michigan. Dominique is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise and a Certified Wellness Practitioner through the National Wellness Institute. She was one of the first ‘Exercise is Medicine Specialists’ (Level 1) in the United States through the American College of Sports Medicine.

Dr. Edwin Jerry S. Tamayo has a Ph.D. in Medical Genetics and Nutritional Biochemistry and M.S. in Biology with an emphasis in Cellular Physiology

Dr. Edwin recently delivered talks on vegan nutrition in scientific international conventions in the Philippines (December 2016) and in Las Vegas (November 2017). Some previous venues where he conducted seminars on lifestyle and wellness include various places in Texas-Rio Grande Valley, Hawaii, California, Louisiana, Canada, and in the Philippines. His lectures emphasize clear understanding of the physiological and biochemical aspects of health and wellness. His scientific studies include the genetic, diet and lifestyle factors of cardiovascular diseases, cancer, diabetes, and obesity.








JARED SANTANA, MD

Dr. Santana completed residency training at Jacobi Medical Center in Bronx, NY in internal medicine. He presently works part-time as a hospitalist in Fort Worth and is the founder of Genesis Revolution, a Lifestyle Medicine practice located in north Texas. He received a certificate in Plant Based Nutrition from eCornell.
