Early childhood educators, naturalists, teachers, pre-service teachers, scout leaders, homeschool parents, and others interested in environmental education are invited to attend this Early Childhood Educator workshop.
Using interdisciplinary, hands-on activities, this interactive workshop will offer ways for educators to introduce their students (ages 3-7) to nature. Get ideas that will build on your young students’ sense of wonder about nature and be comfortable replicating workshop activities in their own education settings.
Participants will receive TWO nationally acclaimed curriculum guides, “Growing Up WILD” and “Project Learning Tree’s Environmental Experiences for Early Childhood”. These guides are correlated to NAEYC Standards and Head Start Domains.
Professional Growth Experience Points are available upon completion.
For more information about Project WILD and Project Learning Tree, go to www.projectwild.org and www.plt.org.
Cost: $40 (TWO separate checks or money orders due the day of the workshop, cash is not accepted).
Space is limited! Register by Friday, April 13 or until full. To register, go to https://goo.gl/forms/D0cXXIOXNILvLoUC2
