More About Our Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Disease (EGID) Clinic

The Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Disease (EGID) Clinic at Phoenix Children’s is a specialty program that provides care for children with eosinophilic gastrointestinal disease. Patients may also have food allergies, food intolerances and complex atopic disorders associated with eosinophilia.

The clinic, the only one of its kind in Arizona, offers comprehensive coordination for the diagnosis, treatment, intervention (nutritional, psychological, and feeding interventions), and education of eosinophilic esophagitis, eosinophilic gastroenteritis, and eosinophilic colitis. This multidisciplinary program provides expertise in pediatric gastroenterology, allergy/immunology, nutrition, nurse-driven education, feeding therapy, general allergy care, and psychology — all in one clinic.

Parent Support Group

The EGID Clinic is proud to have a parent support group open to anyone caring for those affected by eosinophilic gastrointestinal disease(s). Families interested in the support group can contact eoe@phoenixchildrens.com.
