The 16th annual Idea Swap will be held on November 2nd in Worcester, MA. This event is for those programming performing arts events to gather with other nonprofit cultural organizations and performing artists to network and share ideas for projects that can tour New England, including those that may qualify for funding from NEFA’s Expeditions grant program.
At the Idea Swap you can:
•Gather with nearly 150 performing artists and performing arts presenting organizations, curators, and arts programming staff from all six New England states
•Learn about regional, national, and international performing artists that may be touring New England in the coming year
•Find out how to take advantage of tour routing and block booking
•Hear from colleagues representing Arts Presenters of Northern New England (APNNE) and New England Presenters (NEP) about additional opportunities for networking and professional development
You can find details on registration, how to get involved in the events of the day, project idea submissions, hotel, and carpooling on the Idea Swap page of NEFA’s website: https://www.nefa.org/events/idea-swap-5
