Our 8 Week Meditation for Kids program (designed for 8-12 yo) teaches various methods of meditation and mindfulness across a range of topics and activities from breath awareness and muscle relaxation to sensory awareness, emotions, stress, focus and self-esteem.
Each week we cover a different topic and use a breathing exercise, relaxation exercise, guided meditation and tactile activity to integrate it all together, as well as discuss the science behind and purpose of these functions.
The kids receive a manual/workbook, along with an object each week to add to their Meditation Kits, which they take home with them at the end of the program.
Classes run for approximately 45 minutes and are held in our studio in Nambour. Term 2 will commence the week beginning the 30th April with class availability as follows:

"Teaching children to live mindfully in the present moment, helps them cultivate a greater level of self-awareness and acceptance. This then enables them to make thoughtful choices and decisions, with kindness and compassion, to themselves, their friends, families, the greater community and the environment."
