Setting itself big challenges, mad moments of music and art - of substance and utter fun, the Revolutionary Arts Ensemble has been playing for a decade or more.
On Friday 23rd March we are very pleased to be able to perform a selection of of tunes from our Monster Music, Gordons, and Jazz Kung Fu projects.
Our seven-piece ensemble The Revolutionary Arts thingamajig is a stellar lineup of Hawkes Bay’s blue collar good-sorts, led by soaring tenor or alto sax player Anton "of the opera” Wuts - performing alongside Rosie Langabeer (trombone), Vinnie Beaumont (guitar),Willie Devine (keys), Adrian Thornton (bass), Max Parkes (drums), and Joe Dobson (drums). We invite you to a space where neither being in time or being on time are considered virtuous. A space where good taste leads to ruin, and all your wildest dreams sound like exquisitely plausible fantasies.
Support acts for the evening are....
