What to expect from our new adult Aqua Yoga class
Imagine this: you’re in a warm, heated pool, practicing your favorite yoga poses. Your breath is matching your body, your house is clean, your errands are all done. Okay, maybe we went a little overboard. We can’t do your errands for you or clean your house, but we can give you a super-relaxing Aqua yoga class! Instructor Jen Shotwell will guide you through this Aqua yoga class that is similar to a typical yoga class, but so much more! Because of the benefits of buoyancy in warm water, you can expect not only a greater challenge, but greater flexibility and relaxation.
This class is designed for everyone so you don’t have to be an expert yogi to keep up. Even the inexperienced will get the wonderful benefits this class offers. Jen’s sessions begin with gentle flow warm-up movements to get your breath in synch with your body. The gentle flow is followed by variations of traditional yoga poses using the pool wall for support. The class will wind down in a relaxing float supported by pool noodles, and guided meditation by Jen. It's relaxing just thinking about it!
We offer two Aqua Yoga classes every week on Monday. Our first class from 5:00-5:50 PM is a Mother/Daughter designed class, so you can relax and bond together. Our second class from 6:00-7:00 PM is designed for adults, so it’s as perfect for your girls' night out or for your own personal self care. You can call Ren at 719-510-7051 to get signed up.
