Are you new to yoga or returning after a break ? Do you feel a bit intimidated attending a class which has been running for a while ? If the answer is yes then join me for a 2 hour workshop . We shall take things steady and cover
1. A brief history and background to yoga
2. Simple Pranayama ( breathing ) exercises to calm and destress
3. A gentle warm up to prepare the body for movement
4. An asana ( posture ) practice to introduce you to the most common yoga postures
5. A gentle cool down and
6. A blissful savasana ( relaxation ) and yoga nidra ( guided meditation )
7. Time for questions
