Mindfulness & Meditation Workshop
Is your mind racing and your thoughts exhausting you? Are you dealing with anxiety, stress or depression? Or do you want to go to the next level of understanding in your meditation practice? If you are new to meditation or want to learn something new, then this workshop is for you! It is based on the four foundations of mindfulness to help us become more centered and aware. We will learn about, and practice, managing our distracted minds along with recurring thoughts and negativity. We will learn to recognize, identify and manage our own resistance, emotions and obstacles. We will discuss the benefits of mindfulness and meditation and take time to learn from each other while practicing different techniques. We will discuss and use various types of music for our meditation. All that is required is an open mind and a willingness to embark on a journey of self-discovery. Handouts will be provided. Taught by a certified Meditation Teacher with 500 hours of training and 25 years of experience.
Cost: $30 each, includes gst.
